I moved to Gardner in 2015 with my wife and three children. I work at Garmin and my wife teaches in USD 231. Our children have attended Sunflower Elementary, Wheatridge Middle School, and Gardner-Edgerton High School. 

I grew up in a smaller town in Nebraska, one that is a similar size to Gardner today. We moved back to the Kansas City area after 12 years in Wichita to be closer to family. Gardner has always felt like the right place to be for my family and me. I remember exploring Gardner on family walks that first summer. We have spent time exploring the downtown, the area around Gardner Lake, the Gardner Greenway, and just experiencing the specialness of Gardner. 

I can often be found running or walking throughout the city, so if we cross paths, wave and say hello.
